Family Summer Vacation

Liked: They are actively working on updates but our room was exactly what we needed for our trip. We had a double bed balcony room with fridge. Fridge worked fine. Staff was very nice! Wasn't too crowded at pool or beach. Literally walked from hotel pool to beach. AC worked great.
Disliked: Some rust and worn down things but like I mentioned they are actively working on hotel.

Liked: Nothing
Disliked: It was dirty, disgusting bedding, flooring was so nasty stained, pieces of odd scraps of carpet. Stove was rusted with foil, dirty, bathroom walls had some sort of soiled surface on the wall. Stains of something all over. Smelled like alcohol vomit. I had a full panic attack walking into the dirty facility.

Family Getaway

Liked: Have always loved coming to El Caribe. I love the location, and the 2 swimming pools.
Disliked: Over the past few years, it has been neglected. The room this time was filthy, the sofa bed mattresses were stained, no sheets for them, the toilet kept clogging up, slow to drain, the kitchen lacked essentials. And for a Family studio, there were only 2 towels. The outside needed serious repairs as well. The seawall is still being refurbished from Hurricane Ian, the umbrellas for the tables were broken or missing, the lounge chairs at the pool were broken, with the fabric making it a hazard for anyone wanting to sit on them. The pool was great, but needs attention as some of the tile was broken along the edges.
