Very comfortable, staff very helpful...
Liked: Modern. Friendly staff. Beautiful restaurant. Location, short walk into city. Construction was happy around the rooms but could not hear anything in room, soundproofing excellent!
Disliked: No parking.

Nice but hot rooms
Liked: Good location, room was small but beds were comfy, shower/bathroom were a good size. Breakfast was good, staff were great and happy to check us in quite late.
Disliked: Ventilation in the rooms was terrible, we knew there was no air con but assumed we would be able to ventilate the room by opening the windows. The rooms were off a big corridor so it wasn't safe to leave a window open overnight, our room felt 5-10⁰ hotter than the outside with no way to cool it down.

In general good - particularly...
Liked: Really loved the restaurant - the outside area nice. Very good breakfast
Disliked: Didn’t like the location - wrong side of the bridge so away from interesting town centre. Would like to have toiletries as only shower gel was provided

Nice stay. In Bordeaux.
Liked: The room was on the second floor of a fairly new concrete building situated in a safe kind of technology park area. It was quiet at night. The only window, which looked out onto an alley, could be completely darkened. The bathroom was small but functional. The spacious hotel entrance area doubled as a restaurant. A good breakfast was also served there. There was a friendly international guest scene. The hotel's eco-friendly approach was appealing to me. The price was quite reasonable for France. It is perhaps one of the best choices in Bordeaux in the mid-price range.
Disliked: The room was not overly spacious, measuring 2.87 metres in length, 2.50 metres in width and 2.25 metres in height. It was therefore similar in size to F1 hotels, but with more elegant furnishings. Small hotel rooms are quite common in France due to high property prices. The city centre of Bordeaux (2 km) and the main train station, Gare Saint-Jean (3 km), are a walk away over the Pont de Pierre bridge.

Check transport works before booking
Liked: Great staff and lovely accomodation!
Disliked: Construction nearby (which I assume is finishing up soon) and didn't know that tram works would be completed which meant walking into the city centre every day (20 minutes over the bridge). Nil aircons as said above, but meant the room was stuffy as it was warmer weather in June and minimal ventilation.

Horrible experience
Liked: Only Adam was very kind to me, tried to help me in many ways. He works in the night shift
Disliked: My reservation was from 3-8 June and I informed them I was going to be late but I didn't know how late, I ended up arriving on the 4th in the morning. They charged me for this reservation like a month in advance and still didn't respect my reservation. I was coming from Mexico, took 2 flights and one was delayed for 9 hours. The hotel was fully booked and they made me wait until 1 pm to give a room and I got kicked out on the 7th. Nothing was fair. The only thing I was happy about is that I moved to a better hotel which I could've chosen. I saw a reimbursement of 50 Euros only and another random charge of 25 Euros which I don't understand why until now. The girl who checked me in was between 10-11 am June 4th. Horrible experience. If some hotels don't respect booking.com reservations they shouldn't be advertised on this platform. Now I don't even want to make a reservation again on booking.com
