Lovely short break in a...

Liked: The garden is lovely and has a great view of the river(although the aircon is quite loud).Loved the quirkiness, original features and old fashioned furniture. The bedroom had a modern clean bathroom.
Disliked: This is a good hotel but it could be great. The bar area is tatty and needs some TLC.Only had breakfast here which was alright, but we weren’t enticed to eat any other meals here. We did eat in the tapas restaurant attached to the hotel, which was fabulous and our young waiter could teach the hotel staff about customer service and also how to make cocktails.

Liked: Reception staff pleasant and helpful - disappointing that you always had to ring a bell for bar service despite there being visitors in the bar area.
Disliked: Breakfast was disappointing and over cooked and insufficient fruit choice.
