Liked: Property is well situated to Kelso Main Street and square
Disliked: The breakfast was not edible, coffee was cold, asking for warm coffee was not well received, we booked a twin room and got a double, tv had no reception, the shower was either cold or boiling, the button in the toilet was stuck down flushing the entire time. The property is general is extremely dated. No fridge in room which ment making tea and coffee was super difficult as they didn’t have any capsules of long date milk

Liked: Accommodating unplanned late arrival due to traffic.Nice location and very nice room, spacious and a lovely bath.There was the option to stay in the room with our dog and to even bring her to a dedicated breakfast room.The staff was generally friendly.The rooms were very clean.
Disliked: The dedicated breakfast room for dog owners didn't have the same amount of breakfast options as the main room so the second day we left our dog in the room to go for breakfast.The portion of the orderable breakfast was smaller on the second day, not being too generous on the first day already.The mattress was not the most comfortable I have experienced in a hotel.The kettle in the room looked a bit worn and dirty inside so we didn't use it.There was no help with the dog food that needed to be kept in the cold so we had to throw it away as it went bad, we had to look for a store and give her food that was not her normal diet so the dog was unwell on the second day.The whole hotel temperature was too high with a lot of heaters being left on even on a sunny day so we had to sleep with the windows open.The curtains in the room didn't block the light, only very slightly so waking up in the morning was both days very early

Liked: Spacious bedroom with super-king bed. Good sized bathroom with full-sized bath. Breakfast was good.
Disliked: Bedroom got very warm although they did provide a fan. Pillows hard but fortunately we bring our own. Dinner menu seemed very expensive so we ate elsewhere.
