Liked: Nice location, just out of the centre, but bus was nearby and able to commute in and out easily. Clean rooms , friendly staff. Everything you needed. Make sure you're on the ground floor if you have mobility issue as there's no lift.

Liked: Beautiful property, very well looked after and such a friendly welcome. Location was excellent with a very short bus ride into town. Very happy guests.

For a one night stay...

Liked: The room was very clean and it had a modern bathroom. There was access to public transport close by which was very frequent. The housekeeper/cleaner did her best to make me feel welcome.
Disliked: when I arrived the host was not present even though they had confirmed I could book in early so it was left to the housekeeper/cleaner to confirm my arrival over the phone before she sowed me to my room. There was very little usful information in the room. There was no breakfast facility but you were not allowed to eat in your room and as far as I could see there was no communal area/lounge. Access to cafe or resturants was 15 minute walk although if there had been information advising me to buy a Dayrider ticket I could have used the bus all day and and be able to get on and off anywhere. In the room there was a rail but no coat hangers to hang cloths which was a personal issue. Finally I personally feel the cost of the room was over priced allthough I accept the time of year, the 'Fringe festial' it was the same everywhere.

Disliked: Bathroom basin leaked and in summer a sheet - not just a duvet - would be good.

Liked: On the positive side, the person in charge was kind and helpful. The property is located in a safe area, close to a bus stop, making it convenient for getting around.
Disliked: I stayed in a single room, which was small but warm. Unfortunately, the window was blocked and couldn’t be opened or closed, allowing some insects to come in through a gap at night. Although there was a fan, it didn’t help much with the heat. On my second night, the neighbouring room was quite noisy, which disturbed my rest.There was no daily cleaning service, and I didn’t notice any shared kitchen facilities (perhaps I just didn’t pay attention).
