We love going there as...

Liked: Wonderful location - walk across bridge of Lions to downtown. The staff are wonderful and felt like family . Happy hhour and cooked breakfast wwere perks. Rooms were clean and inviting . Love the vinyl wood floors instead of carpet. Sat on patio overlooking the bridge , river and city
Disliked: The pool deck and hotel deck need maintenence . Pool chairs seats were ripped.

Overhyped reviews, basic drive up...

Liked: The proximity to old town was wonderful. Just a short walk of 10 minutes. But was longer if the bridge was activated and added about an additional 10-15 minutes.
Disliked: At check in the lady at the front desk was short with us and not very accommodating throughout our 3 day stay. After check in we were interested in upgrading our room but were told we would have to see about availability the following day. That wasn’t an option per her because we booked by a 3rd party. I killed a roach near our bathroom the second day but found no evidence of any other bug activity. All other staff were jovial and nice during breakfast and other occasions. The facilities needed refreshing such as painting and basic maintenance.

It made for a perfect...

Liked: It was a mini family reunion with my siblings. We were there for the Bridge of Lions 5K. Location we couldn’t have asked for anything better. Staff was awesome!! Definitely will be back!! Highly recommended
Disliked: My sister brought a mini microwave because the rooms didn’t have one. But other than that everything was perfect

Cute little motel and convenient...

Liked: Quick walk across the bridge to St. Augustine and out of the hustle and bustle with a wonderful fancy breakfast each morning included.
Disliked: The only complaint was their lawn furniture by the pool was broken. Pool was great but no where to sit or layout. They need to buy some new stuff!
