The place wasn't really bad,...

Liked: The room was clean and comfortable. The breakfast was good. It is just across the bridge from downtown.
Disliked: On the water, but there is not really any view from inside the room. You can go on a deck, but from noon to dusk you are in full sun. It's a little sizzling in the summer. Frankly, the staff seemed a bit surly...certainly not welcoming!

Liked: Very nice location for someone who loves fishing!Owner was very kind and open for us the door even we came after check in. Thank you so much!Kitchen is quite good equipped! Need just to bring the food!
Disliked: We struggled with the sheets as for us look likes it was dried not so well and was a little bit smelly.

Nice motel very close to...

Liked: Nice place very close to downtown St. Augustine. Nice view of the bridge. I had a room at the end of the property so no view, but thats fine. Could park infront of my room and staff - evening and morning - where very friendly and welcoming! Its a older motel, but beds are very comfi (not to soft, not to hard) and roomsize is great. Also, always most important for me, it was clean! Would come again!

We love this hotel and...

Liked: Perfect location right at Bridge of Lions. Breakfast is 10/10 and happy hour is as well.
Disliked: Needs some love. Paint here & there. Some weeding. Pool deck needs drainage. But this does not detract from the stay.
