Below average
Liked: It was close by and the availability was nice
Disliked: The bed was not comfortable, the sheets were rough. These are two items that can make a huge difference and are well worth the investment in having return customers, to pay 200 for a night where these items are so subpar I wouldn’t return to stay here.

Exceptional
Liked: A different atmosphere to stay. They have a bonfire place at the backyard for your family to hang out. Clean room, linens and a small kitchen that helped us with our food. The owner was very helpful when I called. Will recommend this place who’s looking for a place to stay

Great Accommodations and Excellent Location
Liked: Eden Village Cottages and Motel is conveniently located just 15 minutes from Bar Harbor and even closer to one of the entrances to Acadia National Park. Very nice rooms and grounds. Friendly and attentive staff. Excellent service. A bargain for the area.

A Perfect Getaway Location!
Liked: We stayed in the motel. It was cute as could be. It had fresh paint, good towels, cute bedspread, a well-stocked kitchen with all the utensils you could ever need for making dinner including can opener, bottle opener, etc. They even had cups, plates and bowls to use. Erin the owner was extremely accommodating when my car broke down at the motel, blocking traffic. She offered to drive me to town and to the mechanic since they do not have a good taxi service operating nearby and no Uber. We were stuck and Erin even tried to help me start my car. I felt so cared for during the crisis! Erin is a gem!
Disliked: There was nothing not to like. I guess the ROKU was annoying. I would rather just have local tv stations.

Enjoyed the quiet stay without...
Liked: Loved the fire pits all ready to light a nice fire. Adirondack chairs ready at fireside to go. Was nice to text the property manager who was on site and attended to anything we needed quickly. Quiet, pretty location.

Liked: Last minute booking. Was very responsive to our arrival and offered logs for the fireplace. Good hot water and was nice to have a kuerig for coffee.
Disliked: Some deferred maintenance and looks like they were preparing to paint.

Beautiful scenery in a private...
Liked: Loved the privacy and space provided by renting the cottage. It made it so much easier to save some money by cooking at “home” while staying in the area. The fire pit and grill are a wonderful addition, we also spent most of our time on the spacious porch. The playground was also great.
Disliked: The layout of the cottage was a bit inconvenient with the bathroom being located through a bedroom. The older doors, while beautiful were noisy/ got stuck a few times. We stayed for a week but never received any refreshed towels/ didn’t have a good place to hang and air dry towels. There was only 1 air conditioner located in the living room so both bedrooms were pretty humid.
