Hamilton, Derby, visiting Royal Albert Hall London Thu, 16 April 2015
We had an enjoyable stay despite the standard of the room. It was a great location for the Albert Hall - 10 minutes walk only. We did not have breakfast but I understand it is nice there. Staff responded politely when we made them aware of faults with the room.
Liked: Clean; comfortable beds; polite and helpful staff at front desk.
Disliked: Curtain falling down; manager reassured us this would be seen to when we made them aware. Large crack in bathroom mirror and shelf was substandard so could not put anything on it.

I was expecting a budget hotel so was not disappointed. I was delighted with the cleanliness of the room which exceeded my expectations. Comfy beds; good shower; reasonably quiet, even though at the front. Breakfast was good value - cereals, boiled eggs, yogurt, fresh fruit, fruit juice, as much toast as you wanted, danish pastries, croissants, tea coffee etc. Brilliant. Wouldn't hesitate to stay again.
Liked: Cleanliness, efficiency, welcome, breakfast.
Disliked: Small room as expected. Scruffy carpet.

Stayed in room 202, downstairs(disabled room). Quite spacious, clean and tidy. No problems with any appliances or noise issues from outside the hotel. Bathroom facilities modern and work well. Well located for many attractions such as Royal Albert Hall, National History Museum, Science and V&A museums. Located equidistant between South Kensington and Gloucester road tube stations, approximately 10 minute walk. Lots of pubs, restaurants nearby. Only downside was early morning noise believed to come from staff and hotel guests setting up for and having breakfast. Otherwise when you factor in price, location, etc. I would come back here again anytime.
Liked: Excellent location; friendly and helpful staff; more than adequate comfort for a short break.
Disliked: Noisy during early morning time.

Disappointing
Liked: Good location, nice staff
Disliked: Walls were paper thin - had to ask the concierge to quell the party next door, and even when they were whispering I could still hear them

Good hotel
Liked: Great location, close to the underground and museum quarter. Rooms where great value for money and had all the amenities we needed. Would stay again despite issues with booking.
Disliked: Booked hotel for 2 nights, upon arrival was informed we could only stay 1 night, had a panic trying to book a hotel for the next night, luckily we found a hotel close by for a reasonable price. I would have appreciated a call to say the hotel was only available for 1 night so I could have made arrangements prior to the trip as they had confirmed the 2 night stay before arrival? Staff slightly cold, didn’t apologise for the issue.

Great staff and fantastic location.
Liked: The staff were great. I had a room that was unfortunately not soundproofed well and next to some boisterous football fans. The night staff arranged a new room for me at about 1am (as I had a very early exam the next morning) and were really supportive. I'm sorry I didn't catch the staff member's name, but he was great.
Disliked: Nothing: it is in a great location for the Kensington museums. The rooms are fine, some small, but clean and secure.
