Liked: I heard Elvis stayed here once. Staff was great and very accommodating!

Perfectly fine for one or...

Liked: Hash the front desk guy is a gem of a person a real cool character, funny guy… bed was comfortable shower worked well refrigerator in room
Disliked: Well, it is a bit rundown and dilapidated, but that’s part of the charm. I like classic fleabag and this is definitely one of them.

Poor

Liked: Ac & fridge and microwave in rooms
Disliked: 1. Someone TRIED to cyphin my gas out of my Audi but failed 2. Not enough towel s / soap 3. My room key kept malfunctioning I had to go to the office everyday

Bad

Liked: located at the junction, so noisy from the roads.

Passable

Would definitely stay again.

Liked: Really good location, close to Golden Gate bridge and also in walkable distance to all the main attractions in town. I hike a lot, so 2 or 3 miles are short distance. In case it’s too much for you, you can always take a bus…Ash was absolutely amazing, he was happy to help us with anything, let us check in slightly earlier and also let us park the car in front of the hostel the next day longer to make it easier for us, told us where to go and what to avoid, recommended good restaurants close by, etc.
Disliked: Everything was ok but we aren’t very picky. If you love luxury or something fancy, it is not a place for you. But if you’re looking for a cheap place to stay, value for money, you won’t regret.

The stairs were very steep...

Disliked: No elevator

Disliked: It was run down and a little dirty outside but inside was fine
