Considering the room was for my husband and son they said it was good enough for them. It beat driving home for 3 hours that evening.

Liked: The room was just about what we expected.
Disliked: After getting two different room keys and walking in on two separate guests we finally got a 'private' room.

Not the best

Liked: Price
Disliked: Neighborhood, condition, cleanliness.Canceled stay and got refund. Clerk at desk was understanding and accommodating.

Motel with issues.

Liked: Breakfast was wonderful.
Disliked: The room smelled. The bedspreads were stained. Tried to turn on the cooler to circulate the air, but it was so moldy smelling, we turned it off immediately.Would not choose them again unless they were the only option.Bring your own hairdryer, too.

It's a semi comfortable bed

Liked: The price. But you get what you pay for. The staff is good. Friendly, informative, and open to our requests. They do the best the can with what they have. Except the young man missed that I didn't bring my dogs and didn't need to be in a dog friendly room. Plus, they provide overnight security that is on call to their guests.
Disliked: It is a run-down facility in what has become a seedy part of Springfield. Breaks my heart since I'm from the area originally. Businesses are closing around it, giving the abundant homeless folks places to ramble. Hookers were walking past the front of the building at 3 in the afternoon, and homeless men were cutting thru the parking lot continually. Note that I never felt unsafe. But I didn't leave the room after 9 pm until daylight either. We were given a smoking room when I requested a non-smoking room. But it wasn't too stinky, except for the bathroom. The shower curtain reeked of smoke when wet, and the walls have brown streaks running down them after our showers.

Liked: It's rather out of date. They have a lot of vagrants that walk in and out of the parking lot at all hours. The room I was in had graffiti on the smoke detector and a giant pentagram gouged into the door. Got woke up one night by a questionable person pounding on my door looking for someone at 2 a.m.
