The room looked liked it needed renovations. However, I realize that if you get a smoking room nowadays it's unusual and I realize renovations are expensive.

Liked: I was able to get a smoking room.
Disliked: Loud, rowdy people in the hall long past midnight.

Liked: Friendly staff, clean room, reasonable prices
Disliked: Allowed a group full of young girls to run up and down till after midnight. Kids were sitting in the hallway eating pizza, blocking the hallway.

I generally do not bother to do reviews, I just either choose to go back or not based on how I felt about the room and amenities. Unfortunately, I was not pleased with the room overall. Our carpets were still dirty, not well vacuumed, and when we registered at 3:45pm and went to our rooms, there were no towels. My husband went downstairs to get some and advised that they were not ready yet. I was wanting to have a shower upon our arrival as were were headed out shortly thereafter but could not. Furthermore, when the towels were handed to me, they were quite damp, and since high heat is the only thing that kills bacteria and germs, I would not use the towels as they wouldn't be sufficiently clean. In addition, since there were a few other issues, the bottom line is that I would not stay here again. I don't consider myself to be too critical but cleanliness is a must.

Disliked: Well..our bathroom door was kicked in and they tired to patch it...the bathroom is old needs a brand new facelift..the support bar in shower is rusted ..the back door in our room was lose..the handle is finished and so is the door... Breakfast was a shame...bread,bagel.coffee that's it .no coffee machine in room..no fan in bathroom...how can a busy run a hotel this way..I sure hope the new owners are going to make huge improvements

Liked: Very old furnishings, one chair was very dirty fabric. A slight odor from old carpet etc.Bed was comfy, bathroom cleanBreakfast was a joke, bread, bagels, orange juice and coffee/tea.No cereal, fruit, yogurt or milk. Certainly not what I expected.
