Pleasant stay!!

Liked: The hotel is easy to find and close to most everything that Marion VA has to offer. The front desk staff is friendly and quick to answer any questions you may have. The beds are comfortable and room is clean with updated fixtures. This property is also located about 5 minutes from The Wooden Pickle which has fabulous food and drinks.
Disliked: Our room was on the backside of the hotel which I thought would be nice because there wouldn't be any road noise as the hotel is just off the road. There is a railroad in behind the hotel and a train came through 3 times throughout the night and was super loud when the whistle blew so it woke us up every time. Keep that in mind if you stay here. The hotel, of course has no control of that, so I just wanted to put out that information and would not use that as an excuse not to stay here. I have stayed here twice now and will stay again.

Disliked: Some overlooked maintenance issues. Bon working lights and switches. Mold on the bathroom ceiling. No exhaust in the bathroom

Bed Bug Nightmare

Liked: That it was near a store
Disliked: The Room was Infested with Bed Bugs. I'm allergic to Bed Bug bites and I had to go out with big red Welts on my face, hands, and legs. I paid $300 for 4 nights, not to be bit up by Bugs. I'd like a refund or a partial refund, or I'd take another room for 4 nights. It was a nightmare. And when I told the manager about it he just shook his head.I'm really upset about this and I'd appreciate it if someone makes good on this.
