A great example of clean...

Liked: Mr Niehar - the manager or probably owner. Very helpful, very friendly. Room was clean and comfortable. Facilities in general well cared for but older and tired.
Disliked: The ad on Bookings said Breakfast Included. There was no breakfast. Coffee was decent though

false advertising- there hasnt been...

Liked: Nothing- listing included false advertising.
Disliked: The listing said there was free breakfast. Staff informed me that they havnt had breakfast available since covid. The free breakfast is why we had booked it in the first place.

If you pull off I-81...

Liked: Honestly, the only real positive was that despite 3pm check-ins, the front desk was letting people check in as rooms were available because of the huge Winter Storm that shutdown I-81 and the city of Marion.
Disliked: 1. Appears last update to room was 1980-something. 2. Mattress was like a springboard and horribly uncomfortable. Back hurt worse in morning than if I would have slept in car. 3. The remote for TV only allowed for changing channels. On/off, volume, mute you had to use buttons on side of tv. 4. Cleanliness was not horrible, but found 3 bugs in bathroom. One by toilet, one in sink, and one in shower…. All appeared to be baby cockroaches. Top of tv had not been cleaned/dusted in long time; and there was done kind of stain along left side of tv screen; bed sheets had a hole in git on sheet, big enough to put pinky through; sofa had noticeable white dog hair all over it. 5. Bed sheets were (we joked) holding a thread count of maybe 8. Very thin and fit on sheet would NOT stay on all 4 corners. 6. Walls were thin. Could not follow conversation? But with tv off you knew if both side neighbors were talking, laughing, or snoring.
