I would recommend Econo Lodge...

Liked: The location was great for getting to Lackland AFB quickly and it was nice and quiet. Parking was good and the staff was also very friendly.
Disliked: The water pressure in the shower was not very strong and having a lid on the toilet seat would have been better.

Liked: Very friendly staff, place is super close to the base for easy access, it's 3 signal lights from the entrance gate. Very quiet. Room was good. Beds comfortable, everything worked. No complaints, will definitely stay here again.

Liked: Staff were friendly and respectful. The location was perfect.
Disliked: The room had roaches, and the blankets were burnt. One bed had dirt on one of the sheets. There were not too many things in the room. There was also a used soap wrap on the floor in the bathroom. The towels were old, but I had two new towels because I asked housekeeping when I returned to the hotel.

Very disappointed.

Disliked: Pool was dirty. Over paid for the quality of the room. Neighboring visitors were noisy during the night. Door for the room didn’t shut properly. 24 hour coffee comes out of a machine and isn’t truly available for 24 hours because they lock the doors. Coffee in the room tastes awful. All of the lights in the room were not functioning properly

Pleasant

Liked: It was pretty clean (a couple of hairs on the sheets), room smelled clean like bleach and Fabuloso. The staff and house keeping was very nice. Is close to a nice park with trails (Leon Creek Trail) to go running/walking.
Disliked: Over-priced for what you get. Dated building. There was no breakfast. One of the lamps didn't have a shade, so had to have the light bulb uncovered. Sketch people in the parking lot. No dog poop pick up bags or trash can, so there were big piles of dog poop on the ground on the one section of grass by the pool. I wouldn't stay there again.
