Good

I really was happy there.

Liked: The young guy working at the front desk made me want to be a loyal customer for Econolodge. He was so pleasant and personable and helpful in every way. Best reception person I've ever had. He may not be there forever, but the hotel management did very well in choosing someone.
Disliked: Room service was kind of late. And it only included changing the towels. Bed left unmade.

Good

Liked: First room fridge not working and was on the carpet instead of it’s place. We got moved to a different room and one bathroom light not working so it was pretty dark shampoo dispenser no properly installed and it fell out and also fridge on carpet not in its place. No do not disturb signs available. Other than that all good.

Stay away

Liked: Its centrally located
Disliked: Had bed bugs. Rude staff. Gave me problems about moving me out of the bed bug infested room. Elevator raggedy and not inspected in 3 years.

NEVER would stay here again,...

Liked: The location is great, while close to the highways. The bed was soft, seemed clean
Disliked: The property is outdated, the elevated didn’t seem up to code, we arrived to our room and there was no smoke alarm, no working phone, and a HORRIBLE smoke smell. When to back to the front desk and he was more than happy to change our room to a better conditioned one. When we arrived to the second room, the door was open, but in a better condition. No bad smell, but the AC was not running so the room was muggy, so we started it up. The bathrooms are outdated and need to be maintained. Seemed like they were going out of business. Advertised breakfast and jacuzzi, but both were false. Very disappointed, but if you need to save money, it’s only good for a one night stay.

Disliked: Pictures on web page showed breakfast , but wasn't any except coffee. Woke up to 6 police cars across the street where there was a shooting last night. Man

A+ Econo Lodge

Liked: I liked the fact that the hotel was right off the highway for starters. The staff went out of their way to get me a ground floor room as requested! My room was spotless and very comfortable! And an FYI, the AC was very cold, which was awesome! Staff was very nice as well! A very nice over nighter for me, and will definately book again!
Disliked: Everything was A+! Nothing to dislike!

Liked: Location
Disliked: Outdated. Smelled like curry. Nothing in the rooms worked. Phone, blow dryer doesn’t cut, tv remote needs batteries, ice machine etc.There was no breakfast at all, despite it being advertised. Although it wasn’t advertised for just a few days, it was evident that they hadn’t served breakfast there for months. False advertising.

Liked: Although, the property is severely outdated, it was clean. Close to expressway, takeout, and stores.
Disliked: The hotel advertised breakfast, but none was provided. It also claimed to offer a jacuzzi, which was not available. As a result, the marketing is clearly misleading. Additionally, the TV remote needs batteries, the room phone has no dial tone and doesn’t work, the ice machine was down, and the blow dryer doesn’t turn on. These are essential amenities that many consumers consider when choosing a place to stay, especially when evaluating value for the price.
