Econo Lodge Inn & Suites Fairgrounds

Very nice hotel and decent breakfast. Comfortable beds and nice rooms!

Liked: After miscommunication, got a suite instead of a regular room.
Disliked: N/A

During fair time (Iowa State Fair), I expected there to be small issues. They were not a problem. I was irked that they stopped stocking breakfast items at 8:30 when breakfast isn't officially over until 9. They were overwhelmed with so many fair customers but should have been better prepared from experience to handle a larger than normal breakfast crowd for the entire time.

Liked: Clean rooms and comfortable beds.
Disliked: Poorly stocked continental breakfast.

Disliked: I had a family emergency come up so I had to leave a day early and still got charged for the night I was not even there. I talked to the front about what happened and they told me they would talk to the manager.
