Econo Lodge Inn & Suites Canandaigua

Very nice people running the hotel. There were 2 of us, booked the double queen bedroom. Our keycard did not work, so they gave us a key, which was fine! Stayed on the first floor with view of back lot that was freshly paved - no cars parked there which was nice, just a view of greenery and a picnic table back there. It was very clean, and the air conditioning and shower were great! It was very basic, with fridge, microwave and coffee. There are screens on the windows and you can open them! The outlets had usb connections as well. The beds were comfy with plenty of pillows. There was an ironing board, iron and hair dryer if needed. If you need a magnified mirror bring your own! The breakfast was very basic, only cereal and fruit I think, but they had a waffle maker! Maybe some bagels or muffins would be nice. My husband did not eat anything but he loved the coffee! That's all we needed! It was a 15 minute walk to the CMAC, which is why I booked the room there. I would definitely stay again if we were going to another event there.

Liked: Clean room; hot shower; great coffee; great beds; walking distance to venue; free parking; great air conditioning!
Disliked: Door lock; keycard not working, but key was fine. Loved the waffle maker, but maybe some bagels or muffins would be nice too.

Disappointing

Liked: Staff was friendly and the location was in a good place
Disliked: Room had very stiff uncomfortable beds, the walls were thin and my room smelled like weed the entire time I was in it. Bathroom had water damage and was unfinished on the paint job. Fluorescent lighting was bright and not inviting.

Worst experience ever

Liked: Cheap it was clean
Disliked: Microwave didn't work and charged way to much money for a plain room for that money should have been a suite

Excellent stay in cheap price

Liked: Cleanliness, new furnitures, comfortable beds, clean new toilet, breakfast. Much better than impressions I got from other reviews. Value for money. Nice location as well.
Disliked: Keycard was not working, receptionist given additional key to avoid inconvenience. I appreciate that. Windows, doors etc can better noise proof.

Liked: Location was convenient Bed was comfortable.
Disliked: There were 1/2 used complementary toiletries in the bathroom, only one bath towel for two people and one tissue left in the tissue box.
