Taylor, Kingsland, visiting Savannah Civic Center

Liked: Nothing was good.
Disliked: After I checked in, I went to the room and could just push open the door, the lock didn't work. I went to the front desk to ask for a refund and the front desk attendant called her boss. Her boss said that he would not give me a refund but would put me in a different room. I went to the Savannah Civic Center as I didn't have time to fix the issue. On the way to the Civic Center our Uber driver let us know that there was a shooting there last Saturday. It is an awful neighborhood. There are grown men lingering in the hallways from a construction site. I'm guessing, ready to flirt or pounce on any woman that walks through the door. Do not stay at this hotel!

Horrible

Liked: Nothing at all.
Disliked: Clerk while she did apologize about this instance, booked me in a room. Then tried booked another customer in the same room. I got woken up at 1030pm to someone trying to enter my room. Luckily I had the deadbolt and latch locked. I told the person they had the wrong room. Then they tried again a fee mins later amd told me the front desk wanted to see me. I was not leaving the room as I was traveling alone. I tried to use room phone to call front desk, it did not work. I had to call twice from my phone before clerk answered. She made the mistake of entering in the computer as I was in the room next to me. I told her my keyboard said rm 318 and they key card opened the door to room 318. I did not sleep well that night as it scared me someone trying to enter my room and also banging on the door. I did not feel safe. I understand it was an error but as someone traveling alone and a female, I did not have a good experience and will not be back nor recommend. Awful smell in the hallway. Like someone had been smoking. Mold in the shower. Shower head was nasty.

Very filthy and nasty

Liked: Room was not clean. Very filthy. Had was request housekeeping to come in. My daughter slept in the car.
Disliked: Nothing i like. Hallway was smelling like someone having been smoking for decades in there. Bathroom tub was filthy like it was not clean for months. The stove, refrigerator and things were sticky and when we took off our shoes. The dirt around the room makes the bottom of our feet black. That's how filthy it was. I was in town for a wedding the next day and places were fully booked. So we soldier it out. Never again would I put my family through this mess again.

Very poor

Disliked: The room they put us in was not cleaned at all, hair and pubes in the bathroom, floors were covered in crumbs. The bed sheets were dirty, there was a shirt in the bed sheets from a previous guest. Handprints and makeup on the headboard. The room smelled like an ashtray even though it was “non-smoking”. Took over a hour to get us a different room, they had no staff on site to clean anything other than the lady at the front desk. Location was questionable. I was worried about my motorcycle the entire time as I couldn’t park it in front of my room.

Liked: Nothing. It was horrible.
Disliked: The smell, it says it is prohibited smoking but apparently guests don’t respect that. Then the room has humidity, some guests were smoking pot outside the property.

Horrible stay, would never stay...

Liked: Close to where we needed to go
Disliked: Dirty, smelled like smoke even tho claimed to be a smoke free facility, had a double bed room and only given 2 towels and when we asked for more they claimed they didn’t have anymore. Let’s not forget the cockroach too.
