Econo Lodge Downtown North

When we arrived, the interior of the hotel was dirty and you could tell it was an older hotel. However, we continue to try to check in until the man with the needle tracks on his arm stepped out of the elevator. At this point, I did not feel safe to check into the hotel and ate my deposit and called Holiday Inn Express instead. If you are a female, don't go here as safety will be a concern.

Room was clean; people were very helpful.

The front desk was very friendly. Room was in good, clean condition. Beds were comfortable.

Liked: It was in a nice location, everything was clean, and the check-in was easy.
Disliked: There were a lot of vagrants and what seemed like people living in the property who were just milling about. Also the front desk lady was arguing with a customer which was off- putting.

Liked: Rooms were okay semi updated.
Disliked: Enhanced customer service wrong TV remote was given a roku TV remote for a Westinghouse TV makes no sense. A woman sat out in the lobby soiled and made the entire lobby smell and she was not helped immediately and was treated so wrong. There were cacaroches and some other bugs in the room. Loud banging noises the entire night.

Liked: You can tell they are making improvements
Disliked: No roaches, the nose control all night long partying in rooms and in hallway. I almost tripped on a liquor bottle when leaving my room. It was just laying in the hallway. And site said breakfast and there was none.

Cheap

Liked: Has a fridge. Cheap.
Disliked: There was no secondary lock on our door. It had been completely removed. Made us feel unsafe to sleep in. The A/C made all sorts of noise throughout the night. The toilet would not drain.
