Echo Lodge

This was an AWFUL room and experience. Bait and switched me on room price; destroyed my budget due to clerical ineptitude. Management refused to discuss the problems or resolve in a timely fashion. Room was unbelievably grungy; comforter, blankets, towels were dirty, stained and burned. Terrible experience with Echo Lodge. Buyer and hotel provider beware!

Liked: Proximity to bus lines and shopping.
Disliked: Refused to acknowledge promised price point; room cost $17 more per night plus taxes. Proprietess ran my credit card over and over until it declined, took from my debit card, then took days to refund the full amount; owner refused to discuss problems and discrepancies.

Disliked: The hotel looked bad. The beds had cigarette burn marks and stains in the sheets, the bathroom looked like a gas station bathroom and there was a weird smell in the room
