Very good
Liked: Hotel was fine, the only problem was the lack of kettle in the rooms, I don't drink coffee and only a coffee machine in the rooms, the hotels response was to use the facilities in the reception which wasn't really any good for an early morning cup of tea!

Very bad first experience with...
Liked: Good location, nice reception and lobby area with a well designed bar area to relax
Disliked: Terrible experience overall - I got the hotel 30-45 mins before my wife and checked in at reception. I was given the key for my room, room 201. I took the lift up to my room and upon entering the room, found the room to be terribly cold. I thought of giving it some time before changing or adjusting the temperature but 15 mins in, there was no change. I decided to give a shot at adjusting the dial on the digital system but all I managed to do was seemingly switch off the air-con. I also felt there were gaps in the floor or poor insulation on the windows, as I felt a mild air draft coming through the room. I called reception to check if they could help and they said to wait 10 mins as they turned up the heating on their end. By this time, I was joined by my wife but 1 hour or so into our stay, things went from bad to worse. There was no noticeable change in the temperature and we were freezing. The lady at reception brought us a radiator after I alerted her but the first attempt was a failure - the radiator she brought didn’t work. She then went out and brought a second radiator but by this time, we had had enough. It might have been warmer on the street and we decided to pack up and head out. We raised these issues at the hotel reception and they did offer to change the room but this was just not enough by now. After a lot of feedback and the fact that our trip had been ruined, one of the lady’s at reception finally admitted this has happened before. However, it took a lot to even get an apology out of the hotel staff and their blame game to the maintainence staff not being available. We would have appreciated some attempt to get a refund for this terrible experience but there wasn’t really much. Very unfortunate experience, as the reviews and overall hotel, location and rooms look really good and I can only assume we had terrible luck on our first attempt to spend a night here. Never going back or booking again at this hotel.
