Liked: Bedroom well stocked. Breakfast was good.
Disliked: The smallness of the room, particularly the bathroom.

Disappointing stay – nothing deluxe...

Disliked: We had booked a deluxe apartment and were probably assigned one, but there was absolutely nothing deluxe about it. The apartment was located in the basement with no view from the windows, it was very worn down, and there was a strong smell of old food coming from the kitchen – most likely from previous guests. The atmosphere was unpleasant and unwelcoming, so we chose to return the key and find another place to stay. The receptionist didn’t seem surprised and didn’t ask any questions, which only confirmed our negative impression of the place. We cannot recommend this hotel.

Great last minute stay,very comfy...

Liked: It was a cottage rather than a room,it was quite,comfortably,good heating,good breakfast(extra),good staff,lovely garden,very near to central Canterbury.
Disliked: Couldn’t get tv to work(no signal),had to geta staff member to do it.Water pressure not that great.No sugars with the tea,coffee,milk etc.

Liked: The property is in a good location and free parking
Disliked: Unfortunately when we arrived our room had not been cleaned and it took over 2 hours before we had access to our room. When we did go in the floor was slippery and wet. We had to cancel our dinner reservations as we did not have time to get ready. Considering our room was meant to be ready from 2pm and we arrived at 4, wasn’t great! The hotel staff gave us a couple of free drinks at the bar but we missed our dinner so don’t feel like that made up for it.
