Good
Liked: I didn't need more than a comfy bed and a bathroom. And that's what I got - the bathroom was tiny, but it was en suite and the double bed was comfortable. The lovely man on reception took pity on me, because I didn't want to climb loads of stairs and gave me a room on a lower floor. He also offered water and snacks. A really nice touch. Yes, it's basic. Yes, the rooms are small. But honestly, when you're only planning to sleep, wash, then leave the next morning, what more do you need?
Disliked: The windows seemed single glazed so there was some noise.

Terrible.
Liked: Its location.
Disliked: The lack of aircon and window that would not open in summer so the room was extremely warm. The receptionist said they would refund part of this and to contact booking.com and then ignored booking.com so no refund. The template in the room was above 35 degrees it was terrible.

A place to rest your...
Liked: Aircon. An absolute necessity, during the heat wave we had while in London. It's always on and you have no control over it, but that was fine.Very comfortable bed with good linen and large bath towels.Location is good - Gloucester Rd & High St Kensington tube not too away. Big Sainsbury's round the corner for your morning coffee and pastries. And it's a charming area. The contrast between your fibreglass cubicle and the millions-pound mews is amusing... Think cross-channel ferry cabin utility, and that sums it up. We just kept in mind what little we paid for staying in a prime London location in summer.
Disliked: Nowhere other than the floor to put stuff on. The concept of an almost hose-down room. A long fold-out shelf would have been useful. There are just a few hooks on the walls (bedroom and bathroom) for hanging clothes. It does encourage tidiness and order though while there! The sink was tiny, the type where you can barely get your hands into. The fixed-head shower works, though under curtain splashing will cover the floor.Turns out from looking at the fire exit floor plan, we had one of the biggest rooms, G5, end of corridor.

Liked: The location was very good and close to a shop and a tube station too, also 24hr service was very helpful
Disliked: The bed sheets were dirty, stained with what seemed like makeup and foundation or something else i wouldnt want to know…also no elevator and our floor was floor 4 which we did not know about until we checked in.
