Cheap, clean practical stay would...
Liked: We booked a cheap room with no window stayed here before so knew to expect a small clean room. But we had 2 huge windows and a really comfortable stay
Disliked: Space around the bed is very tight

Date change
Liked: Nothing I didn't stay as my plans changed ..the hotel said I can't get refunded which was OK but I could change my dates so I changed them and then they said they couldn't accommodate me?
Disliked: The fact they said I could change the dates and when I did they didn't let me change them

Great stay
Liked: My double room was very clean. The staff were very nice, I got there at 10:30pm and there was someone at the front desk ready to book me in. Very patient as well.

Extremely good location, very disappointing...
Liked: Very good location in the middle of the city centre.
Disliked: The hotel stated it had onsite parking. From more research beforehand it stated there was a partnership with Q parking. This was extremely difficult to find and was not clearly linked to the hotel, this shouldn’t be categorised as a hotel with parking. The rooms are also TINY, with no windows at all. The room consisted of a bed and no space to move at all.

You get what you pay...
Liked: Central location, room was clean, friendly staff, vending and coffee machine if required. Sockets near the bed. Surprisingly, I had great sleep with little to no noise.
Disliked: I understand this is a budget hotel, but to not have a bedside table where there was clearly enough space for one should be a sin. AC controls are preset and turn off after 180 mins, TV could have been a little bigger, but I sort of expected it, there is no bin in the bedroom only a tiny one in the bathroom. Bathroom for a large person like myself was a bit of a struggle, for example in the shower I could barely move, and I am over 6ft and the shower hose was around the height of my neck which was a struggle. I had planned to stay for a week and had 3 bags with me but no space in the room to place them and only 2 hangers which are fixed fo the wall, which i feel was not enough. No dedicated parking, free after 6pm so youll have to either pay or wait till after 6, but alot fo people have the same idea, so if not travelling via car it would be more convenient as you have train station and buses nearby. Some of my points aren't a direct criticism but just my experience. Overall, if your looking for a budget option, in a central location and the room would be primarily be used for sleeping, then this is a great option but anymore expectation then this may not be for you. FYI, I had stayed in a windowless room, so I can only comment on the type of room i had stayed in. Last point, nearly every place I visit I usually ask for a complimentary upgrade nothing fancy and if available, in this case a room with a window, but they wanted to charge me extra per night, although they have a every right to, it would have been good customer service and experience to accommodate me in some way.

If you want to stay...
Liked: I'm glad this hotel had air conditioning and elevators. I need my creature comforts. The location was walking distance from Cavern Walks / Cavern Club district, plus commuter trains.
Disliked: The hotel charged me a 'city tax' upon check in. Even though I had prepaid this hotel, the extra charge of 2.80 GBP or something surprised me. Especially since the other city center hotels I stayed in during this trip did not charge this fee. Also, the AC fan was stuck on low. But I was able to eventually cool down the room.
