No fresh towels daily. No room to turn around with two of us. Very tiny. Shower was hardly a shower.

Liked: It was terrible.
Disliked: Very cramped - felt like a cell.

Disappointing

Liked: The location was great and ideal for where we needed to be.
Disliked: The room was far too small, you couldn't even move once in the double room. It wasnt big enough for 2 people.

Disliked: The room was a lot smaller than expected and there was a lack of facilities and space to put things.

Disliked: possible insect bites but cant be sure and the door banged against bed before opening fully.

Liked: Great locationRooms are clean and kept at an ambient temperature.
Disliked: Room and bathroom are tiny. The beds are not suited for anyone over 6 foot as they are wedged in the room with walls at the top and bottom of the bed.

Disliked: It's too old and need a renovation, too small for the price paid

Noisy and added extras to...

Liked: Very close to the castle for the Tattoo
Disliked: Having to pay £2.50 per bag to leave luggage before check-in. Very thin walls, woken at 2am by two very noisy guests singing and slamming doors and constant noise from the street all night even on a Monday. Do not stay unless you are a really heavy sleeper.

Disliked: There was food waste on the floor and what appeared to be blood on the bathroom mirror. It wasn't possible to open the bathroom door fully because of the bed.

Disliked: •The room smelled strongly of faeces from the moment I arrived.•There was hair in the bathroom, indicating it had not been cleaned properly.•The shower did not work.•A bright green light in the room made it impossible to sleep.•Loud shouting from the neighbouring room continued late into the night.The combination of these issues made the stay extremely unpleasant, unhygienic, and far below any reasonable standard.
