Very good

Suitable for short budget stay

Liked: Very friendly 24/7 front counter staff. If you check in early, you can pay 5 euros per person for baggage storage and use of the restroom to freshen up. It's a less than 5 minutes walk to the nearest tram station and 10 mins to the nearest U-bahn.
Disliked: The room is as small as the other reviews say. It's very tight for 2 people but doable if you're in for a short stay or not fussy.

Minimalist hotel room

Liked: The window blocked sound very well and there was a sliding door that completely covered the window and left the room pitch black, great for sleeping. I thought the bed was quite comfortable, my partner was moderately comfortable, and we liked that it was a single large bed rather than two smaller ones. The shower was also quite nice - good pressure and temperature. It was quite nicely located near public transport and a lot of food options, as well as being close to the Museum Island.
Disliked: The room was incredibly tiny, and the bathroom was hard to navigate because it was so small, also nowhere to put toiletries because the counter was almost nonexistent. There was absolutely no room for belongings - luckily, we only had backpacks, but a suitcase would've been terrible. The outlets were also both on the same side, which meant only one person could easily charge devices. It was fairly loud if the window was open, and we really would have liked to have two blankets. The name is also a bit misleading: it is actually about a 15-20–minute walk from Hackescher Markt.

Good value for a solo...

Liked: The 24 hour staff were all fabulous, both during and prior to my stay- very helpful and and friendly. The room was clean. The location is excellent.
Disliked: The room was too small to have a double bed. As a solo traveller, a single bed would have made the room less cramped. I don’t think this double room would actually work for a couple as there would literally be no space for bags and you can only get in/out of one side of the bed. Free Wifi didn’t work though there was an option to purchase higher speed data- I didn’t use this though.
