Did not stay
Disliked: It wasn’t available as they sold up and cancelled the stay. Obviously I can’t comment on the visit. I just don’t know why booking. Com didn’t know this particularly as you notified me I was double booked. I had to book Ilsington at short notice!!!

Weekend in nature
Liked: Lovely B&B with very friendly hosts and amazing breakfast.
Disliked: Location is a bit hard to get to, and the bed had a bit of a ridge in the middle, which made it feel like 2 beds put togehter rather than 1 big bed.

House which needs better heating
Liked: Just off the road and so relatively well located.
Disliked: Not well-heated with noisy heater.

A real home away from...
Liked: We stayed at the Eastwrey Barton with our five month old twins. Our room was huge and excellent provision was made for the babies - they both had a cot set out with teddies! The room had blackout curtains and for the first time ever, the boys slept through the night! The rooms were clean, the grounds were beautiful and the breakfast was delicious (with fantastic coffee too!) The best part though was the hosts. They made us feel so welcome, gave us local recommendations, booked the local restaurant for us and really looked after us all. My husband had to leave for work on the last morning and Janet helped me to get the car packed up with the babies and even looked after them for me while I ate breakfast. It was a real home away from home and I can't wait to return. Thank you so much, Olivia Physick

Exceptional
Liked: The breakfast was excellent, with three different menus to choose between, and Janet and Martin were very nice! The garden and all the surroundings were very pretty and the house was very suitable located in the dartmoor

Liked: I stayed with my young children and they made us feel so welcomed and comfortable. They were so accommodating and thoughtful. I am so pleased we stayed with them and we will definitely be returning! Thank you
