This place is a scam

Liked: Only positive was that the free wifi was decent.
Disliked: DO NOT STAY HERE! This needs to be at the top. The staff attempted to hold my driver's license ransom, initially claiming I needed to give them $40 cash to get it back, that was then increased to $50 upon my second attempt to retrieve it from the office. It was only once I threatened legal action and began telling other prospective tenants entering the office about the scam that the staff returned my i.d. Upon checkout the next day, the office was empty, an older woman came from outside of the office, took my room key, and turned away and put it under a stack of towels in the open maintenance room two doors down, all without saying anything but holding a brutally mean grimace towards me the whole time The staff was extremely rude and the room was disgusting. Marks all over the walls and door frames, clearly buildup of being touched over time, could have been wiped off with clorox wipes. Several yellow/green/gray "globs" on the walls that are obviously boogers that had been left by previous stays, and not cleaned by the staff. The shower curtain had a stripe of mold spots running along the bottom. The TV could not be turned off, nor could the volume be adjusted. The AC unit was also visibly dirty, covered in drywall residue and heavily damaged across the plastic face. Bad time, bad staff, bad room, bad remodel, bad water pressure, bad price.
