Was ok.
Liked: Was clean and tidy, menu was ok. Handy to have a vending machine in reception and good that this hotel sells the convenience”s you may need like toothpaste etc, not a lot of hotels provide that.
Disliked: Twin room was a bit expensive for the price paid and wasn’t very comfortable beds, mattress”s quite hard.

Adequate
Liked: Bedroom too small. Light in bathroom very poor. Location brilliant…breakfast old fashioned..would like a help yourself big range of healthy breakfasts. Lovely breakfast area….seats comfortable.
Disliked: Poor light in bathroom. Bedroom too small..stairs could be more brightly lit and the bottom strip on the carpet should be removed. I thought that it was another step!

A pleasant short stay
Liked: Good location on the seafront about one mile away from Devonshire Park where the annual tennis tournament was being held. Our room was quite small but comfortable. The breakfast was good value at £9.90 per head.
Disliked: The room was very warm although there was a notice saying fans could be obtained from reception. The window frames were in need of painting

A lovely stay but disappointed...
Liked: Great position on the seafront and near the pier. Friendly welcoming staffParking permits provided at £2.35 per day .
Disliked: One of our rooms (on the first floor) had a long window that only opened at floor level. The seaview we paid for in that room was partially obscured by the balcony balastrade, but we had to pay the same for that room as for the one on the second floor which had two opening windows and a clear view of the sea. This seemed rather unfair.
