Very nice place. good location...

Superb

Great design but not functional

Liked: The hotel and room interior design is modern and unique. Breakfast is excellent and has a very good variety. Location is also very good and close to many attractions and restaurants. Beds are very comfortable. Bar/restaurant is very nice with great atmosphere
Disliked: Room design is not very functional. Room is too dimly lit in my view. You cant switch on or off the lights from the side of the bed. Washbasin is relatively small and not regular in shape (funky but not functional) and the mirror is small and not possible to position opposite the basin so if you are shaving for example it is challenging. It is also separate from the toilet seat which is a separate booth. Bathtub is huge (for 2 people) which I guess is a feature but there is no separate shower cubicle which means that when you take a shower in the tub and you need to step out you need to step over the edge which is quite elevated with a hard marble tile edge/ corner and this may cause slipping as there is no mat in the tub to ensure your trailing foot is stable. There is no kettle or coffee machine in the room which for me would be a huge plus and would expect for the price paid. There are no extra toiletries provided such as soap bar (only liquid), cotton buds etc. I got a room on the ground floor but the location is such that you need to go out from that wing to the outside (uncovered) terrace to go again into the hotel building. This means for example that instead of going to breakfast (or any thing else within the hotel in light clothing if you choose to you actually have to wear heavier clothes as it was still very cold. There was an event in the hotel restaurant/bar on Wednesday and hence there was a very reduced menu which was not notified to residents.

Liked: Beautiful hotel, room quality and size excellent. Staff friendly and helpful. Bar really nice and good for people watching. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend.

Disliked: Pervasive ambiance perfume is disgusting and probably toxic , a cliché today in hotels and restaurants .I hate it. It is an odious form of pollution that nobody asks for, and I hope that this is a fashion that will pass soon. In the future when I reserve a hotel I will make sure that there is NO perfume.Also, the techno music was so loud in the restaurant that I couldn’t taste the meal.This is another cliché that must appeal to young clients that know nothing about food.It’s a shame, as the menu was well prepared and the service staff was very professional.
