Liked: Beautiful quiet location. My husband and I both have pretty severe reactions to scents (detergents, air freshener, cleaners, etc.) and the room was clean and smelled like nothing. We had just escaped another hotel that was making us sick, and this place made made us incredibly happy. I wish we could have stayed for more than one night!

Disliked: lot of lip service and no action has put me off staying again also stain on pillowcase not acceptable when paying £185 per night

We like this place as...

Liked: The Spa is excellent and our massages were very good. Our room was fantastic and great value. All of the staff were attentive but not in your face.
Disliked: We tried the new steak restaurant on site which has only been open for a month. This was very disappointing. Way over priced for the food we received and the food was disappointing in itself. We would not eat in this restaurant again unless some big changes were made.

Liked: The breakfast was really tasty and the hotel was pure luxury
Disliked: The bathroom could have been better, limescale on rails and door/floor wet room in disabled room was a little run down. It was perfectly acceptable but it didn’t quite match the rest of the high hotel standards :)
