Liked: From the moment we arrived until we left.Everything spotlessly clean.Food brilliant.
Disliked: The waitress and waiter were brilliant, but the man servjng the meat was not a happy man.As this was for a 40th Wedding Anniversary meal with my family he was rather grumpy.

Superb

Clean, comfortable, spacious accommodation.

Liked: The hotel is very clean with very good sized rooms and bathrooms. The bed was comfortable. We enjoyed the cocktail hour and the views from the bar/restaurant area. We were pleased to be able to book an accessible room with a wet room bathroom for those of us traveling with access issues.
Disliked: We ate in the restaurant downstairs and found that the food was all right but not that exciting.

Liked: Reception staff very welcoming and really helpful. The view from the balcony was stunning. Breakfast very good.
Disliked: The attitude of the bar staff was disturbing and the limited choice of the draught lager. No instruction of closing the balcony door before the aircon worked.

Disliked: Debris/food on floor around tables in restaurant at start of dinner.Piped music in lounge area too loud.

Very good for a functional...

Liked: Lovely rural location, easy to find, loads of parking, very quiet. Reception staff very welcoming and efficient. Bar and restaurant food was good.
Disliked: Disappointed not to be able to open windows in such a quiet rural location and aircon/heating slow to respond.Breakfast very average - bacon had been cooked piled up and folded over so that one side was completely uncooked, terrible cheap teabags, hot water urn for tea was lukewarm - I had to use the coffee machine for hot water.
