Thank you so much for your hospitality! From my first contact and through our entire stay the staff extended every courtesy and professionalism - qualities I value the most.

Great rooftop lounge but high...
Liked: The roof top lounge is spectacular, especially at night. We had a wonderful, warm evening and could bring our refreshments up there to look at the Chrysler building, Empire State bldg and One World Trade all from one seat. Amazing view. Very comfortable seating.
Disliked: It really was not worth the price we paid. It was during San Gennaro Festival time, which is why we chose this hotel for its location. But they bumped up the price during that festival. ouch.

Liked: Advertising a rooftop bar, but it looks like it hasn't been open in years. Stains on the bed sheets. For the price, you can stay anywhere.
Tiny rooms that you can hear the other rooms flushing toilets. Needless to say I will not be returning.

Good location and cost, just...
Liked: I liked the cost and location.
Disliked: The rooms are incredibly small, literally a bed and tiny bathroom. There is little to know room for anything else like a suitcase.

Disliked: Simple (and hard) bed.

Great short stay
Liked: Good location near Little Italy and Chinatown, helpful staff, close access to the subway.
Disliked: A bit confusion about the previous name (Hotel East Houston).

Great location and room for...
Liked: Bathroom was modern and clean-looking. Great location for those not into the busy, Times Square type of vibe. Very close to Russ & Daughters, Katz's, SoHo, St. Mark's area, and Chinatown. Nice staff. As a smoker I loved the rooftop access; nice to finish off the night there with a few beers. Decent view.
Disliked: Curtain was broken and the chair worn, didn't care but noticeable things.

Nice stay in the Lower...
Liked: The location is great, close to the subway and many restaurants.
The rooftop is nice too!
They have complimentary coffee, lemonade, etc at the lobby.
Disliked: We forgot our toothpaste and asked the receptionist for a complimentary one but they had none. Given the price of the hotel i would expect them to have some extra amenities/toiletries in case guests forget them.

Great little hotel in an...
Liked: Rooms were quite basic (and could do with a bit of TLC) but were very clean. The location is amazing with lots of restaurants and bars directly behind the hotel and a metro opposite and so a really great little base to explore this incredible city.
Disliked: No coffee / tea making facilities in the room but there was tea / coffee / water & juice available in reception so not a major issue.
