Disliked: We experienced the facility as being somewhat flat and not able to provide/create an exceptional experience. For whatever systemic reason(s), (e.g. clunky IT system at reception, cleaning staff not energetic, hotel not interested in and unresponsive to feedback...inaccurate account), we sensed a low morale among the staff.Room was dark, poor lighting.We left with the thought that, for whatever reasons, and not withstanding very high recommendations given to us to stay at the hotel, that it is going through a low point in a cycle of its life. Not good value for the rates they charge.

Liked: The room was very comfortable and quiet, nice and roomy too. The staff were lovely and very helpful.
Disliked: The cafe down stairs had closed. It was one of the reasons we stayed there. There wasn't much of a selection in the room except for junk food which was a bit disappointing.
