Nice pleasant stay, great location...

Liked: Small quaint cottage with barns at the back and room for parking. Located central Abbotsbury great for walking.
Disliked: Not much really, bumped my head on the front door frame, quite low and there are some others like that so be careful if you’re 6ft plus.

Memorably eccentric stay in a...

Liked: Fabulously quirky and chintzily eccentric home. Wouldn’t be to everyone’s taste but delightful that places like this exist in a chocolate box english village.
Disliked: It’s a farm so you’ll be better catered for if you’re a meat eater, however the hostess did manage to rustle up some beans and toast which was appreciated.

Liked: We liked the location. The house is in the heart of the village. Local bus ran to/from Weymouth to Abbotsbury every 2 hours. The breakfast was very good, with all being homemade. The host was very pleasant & helpful.
Disliked: Nothing.

Firmly in the fine tradition...

Good

Liked: Comfortable bed, plenty of hot water, quiet, parking
Disliked: No menu/choice of breakfast.Far too much clutter of knick knacks everywhere Since booking I had surgery with anaesthetic on departure day but there was a complete refusal by host to make some food available before her breakfast time. Bread or cereal would have been sufficient but had to buy croissants to eat in the room. Quick to take money though for breakfast not supplied.

Very good

Liked: Close walking distance to pubFriendly host Comfy bedDespite not receiving my dietary requirements until the evening before breakfast, it was clear the host pulled all the stops to provide dairy free milk and breakfast items I could eat. If you have any allergies or intolerances, I would suggest phoning the property beforehand as messages will not be received.
Disliked: Contacted host via booking.com app messages days before arrival with my dietary requirements. Upon arriving, I was told by the host that she doesn't have time to open and read messages and therefore was not aware of my requirements for breakfast.Spiders and cobwebs in places
