Affordable Comfort Minutes from London's Music Scene

Modern convenience meets budget-friendly charm at Earls Court Garden Hotel, located in the heart of West London. Just a 3-minute walk from Earl's Court Underground Station and surrounded by iconic attractions like Hyde Park and the Royal Albert Hall, this simple yet well-situated hotel offers a no-frills stay with essential comforts.
Each guest room includes a private bathroom, TV, and tea and coffee facilities, while free WiFi is available in public areas.

Why Concert-goers love it

Location is everything, and this hotel delivers. You’re within walking distance of Earl’s Court Exhibition Centre and a short Underground ride to major music venues across London. With West Brompton Rail Station just 10 minutes away on foot, getting to and from gigs is a breeze—even after the encore. The quiet residential setting also makes it easy to wind down after a high-energy night.

Who this Hotel is great for

  • Groups of friends looking for an affordable base in the city
  • Solo travelers catching a once-in-a-lifetime show
  • Couples wanting to explore London’s music and museum scene
  • Fans needing a quiet space to recharge post-concert
  • Budget-conscious music lovers who prioritize location

Food and Drink Options

While there’s no on-site restaurant, the hotel is surrounded by late-night eateries and international food spots perfect for a post-show bite. Plenty of cafés in the area offer breakfast—even for those crawling out of bed late after a big night. You’ll also find supermarkets and takeaway options just steps away.

Nightlife Options

The Earl’s Court area offers a mix of classic British pubs and trendy bars, many within a short walk. For those not ready to call it a night, nearby Kensington and Chelsea boast vibrant nightlife, from chilled lounges to late-night spots with live DJs. While the hotel itself is quiet and simple, you’re never far from the action.

What People Say

Guests love the excellent location and value for money. Reviewers frequently mention how easy it is to get around London and appreciate the short walk to the Tube. While the rooms are basic, many say they’re perfect for a short stay focused on exploring the city or attending events.

Areas for Improvement

Rooms are on the smaller side and could use a refresh—but that’s often the trade-off for the low price and prime location. Some guests note noise between rooms, so light sleepers may want to pack earplugs. There’s also no lift, so be ready for stairs if you're on a higher floor.

The Bottom Line

If you're heading to a concert and want a clean, affordable place to crash in a great location, Earls Court Garden Hotel is a solid choice.

Need to close and spend...

Liked: Not alot. The pictures were deceiving on booking.com as did not get anything like the pictures
Disliked: The entrance. The receptionist (lady in a small cupboard with a hatch in the wall). Didn't speak clear English. Didn't know where any shops were (every shop and restaurant you can imagine was just at the end of the road!).Stairs up to the rooms were filthy and carpets were old and filthy, they were also steep, no lift.Rooms weren't clearly signed and was confusing.Walked in and although on 1st impression was ok, our room absolutely stunk of drains!Walls were filthy.Carpet was filthy and weren't fitted properly.Radiators were filthy and full of dirt.Bed was uncomfortable with an extremely springy (you could feel every spring) in the mattress.Duvet looked none existent but because the room was so hot we ended up sleeping on top.Only had one, flat pillow each and had no spares to make myself comfortable as have fibromyalgia.Kettle situated right next to the bed, we had to use everything on the floor for safety.Plug socket next to the bed was starting to crumble and literally was coming away from the wall, didn't feel safe using it.Light near the bed did not look safe to use.Stained walls.Shower room door had been filled in but not finished.Metal sticker stuff was partially covering the door but was not finished so think there was dents on the door they were trying to cover up.Open the shower room door and you get hit with a massive smell of drains which straight away puts you off wanting to use the facilities.Drain for some reason was in the middle of the floor and looked filthy.Door frame was covered in dust/dirt.Toilet bowl was stained and filthy.Left with a half roll of toilet paper and on no holder which must of fallen off as there was more filler in the wall.Sink was too tiny to use.As you step over the filthy, stinky drain to get to the shower cubicle and open the door, you get smacked in the face with another drain smell!

Disliked: The TV was hung on the wall by a piece of red cotton thread attached to a nail. The bed was propped up on a piece of wood.

Very good

Liked: I only stayed here for one night, but it was a very pleasant experience. The staff was extremely kind and welcoming — they even allowed me to check in earlier and check out later, which I really appreciated. The room was clean and cozy, with its own private bathroom, and everything I needed for a short stay. It was quiet and comfortable, and I felt safe and cared for.Thank you so much to the lovely team — I’m very grateful for your hospitality!

Terrible. Would never return!

Liked: It’s in a great location
Disliked: It was dirty. Smelled terrible of drains. Shower cold. Room was Boiling hot. Even after windows being open all day/night. Sockets hanging out walls. Hadn’t even been hoovered. Only reason we didn’t leave immediately is because the bedding was clean. However on going to bed the mattress so old the springs were digging in our backs. Extremely uncomfortable.
