Convenient location but poor value...

Liked: Location was good to see the city.
Disliked: Paying extra for parking. No hot water and heating this was poor considering the cost of the stay. TV not working.

Disappointing

Liked: Location is great. Thought I’d try the County again, as I’ve often stayed, altho recently I’ve used the Radisson.
Disliked: No car charging points in car park - these days, this is poor. On my stay, the hotel lost its gas supply. Whilst clearly not their fault, it meant no hot water & limited breakfast. Mentioned at check out, received an apology. Would rather have had compensation of some sort!

Liked: Room: Very comfortable air conditioned spacious room. Two TVs, good internet connection and plenty of storage. Large breakfast room with efficient service.
Disliked: Not much of a view - looked out over car park. Upon departure the lift doors closed but lift did not move. Pressed lift doors to open and used stairs to exit.

Overall OK, location is excellent.

Liked: Room was fine albeit not too warm, thankfully there was a secondary oil fired heater to switch on. Generally, all my stays when the weather is poor, the rooms are never warm enough.
Disliked: As above

Exceptional

Liked: Lovely Hotel in excellent location for centre of Durham. Very good room and excellent breakfast. Would recommend
