Excellent location; the entire staff that I had interactions with were all professional and helpful. The valet service was was on point, never more than a 3 minute wait to get my vehicle. Just barely a minute walk to the Carolina Theater which was perfect for me because I was attending an event on December 15. The breakfast area was very nice - the food was fresh and delicious. Food we had ordered by the bar was extremely fresh and very tasty. The rooms were extremely clean with nice modern decor. I will definitely stay at this hotel the next time I am in Durham and I would recommend everyone to stay here as well. Walking distance to cute shops and little restaurants is always a plus. I loved my 3 day stay.

Liked: The room was just beautiful, and the walk-in shower was what I needed for my health issue. The bed and pillows were extremely comfortable.
Disliked: I was not disappointed.

We attend shows frequently at DPAC, but have never stayed over in Durham. Our room on the 9th floor was beyond expectations. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. The location was close to wonderful restaurants and to DPAC. The shuttle to DPAC was very convenient. We loved our visit to the Marriot and want to come back! I have nothing negative to say. A great experience.

Liked: Location and service. Room was great!
Disliked: Drinks pricey at the bar.

I enjoyed my stay at this hotel. The staff was very friendly and the room was very clean and smelled so nice and clean when you entered. I attended a play at the DPAC so this was a the best location. There isn't an onsite parking lot - however, we did not have a lot of trouble finding parking around the hotel.

Liked: Very clean
Disliked: No on site parking lot.
