Liked: Duquesa landmark hotel4 stars??Lobby is odd not look like a lobbyconstruction near the siteBreakfast and gym is off site of the hotel @ Duquessa de Cardona hotel (like the main part of the hotel??)I could have booked on that site.Bathroom is so cramped and smell like sewage after I took a bathWe are 3 with my adult 1 kid and my husband Towel and bathrobe is old, wear downRough for my face :)No wash cloth Good thing there’s slippers!Only BBC news available otherwise you can watch just an old movies in one channel Pls read carefully what are you booking.

Grea hotel and erea close...

Liked: Great location gothic quarter, Anna on reception was extremely welcoming and helpful , the roof bar and pool had lovely views or marina and sea front ,we have stayed in barcelona many times pre cruises this hotel is our favourite hotel to date for short stay will definitely return excellent value.
Disliked: Some noise from temporary road works. Didn't efect our stay.

Great location with a nice...

Liked: This is an excellent location at the edge of the gothic quarter. Also a very short walk to the beach, perhaps 10 to 15 minutes. Very close also to the El Born neighbourhood.
Disliked: The lobby is oddly laid out and with very little space. If there are other visitors in there at the same time, it is very crowded. Still, the staff are excellent at handling this.

Exceptional

Liked: Perfect location, friendly stuff, rooftop with spectacular view. The room was big, the kitchen had everything necessary for cooking. It was quiet even though the building is located in the middle of the city.
Disliked: The room might be cleaner - there were hair on the floor, assumingly from previous visitors. Overall floor cleaning might be better. There was no toilet brush in the bathroom.The pool on the rooftop is only about 0,5m deep and not suitable for swimming.
