Clean, but expensive and not...

Liked: It was clean and in a good location
Disliked: For the price of being basically a hotel, they didn't provide any soap or shampoo in the shower, minimal staffing, mediocre bedding.I could understand if they were cheaper but they really weren't.

Not the best but good...

Liked: I stayed at the 12 people dorm, the bed was okay. It was nice to have lockers and generally felt safe during my stay. Common areas were sufficient to use wifi or socialize. The location was pretty close to the main attractions.The staff was helpful.
Disliked: The water in the showers was VERY weak. I stayed there for a few days and it was consistently problematic as far as I can see. Also, there was mold in the showers. It is not too hard to get rid of it so it made me question the cleanliness in general. The breakfast was okay, but the kitchen table was way too small for the all guests. During peak hours there was a queue to get pancakes, find a seat to eat them, and clean your plate to leave.

cheap and worth it

Liked: it was close to the national mall, it was cheap, it had breakfast. we were allowed to leave our bags after our stay to explore
Disliked: the mattress was hard

Good value for money, helpful...

Liked: The staff were kind and willing to help.
Disliked: A guy who slept on the bunk above me and snored heavily almost throughout.. He was a bit talkative.

Convenient for a short stay...

Liked: I liked the breakfast included (excellent from the restless kitchen ladies). The room has big lockers and the room had its own bathroom with shower/toilet/basin. Ample space to leave big suitcases outside the basement's room. The accessible code external and internal system. Some freebies (bottle openers). Clean facilities, but perhaps not too many for a full capacity hostel. Nice kitchen/ fridge to help customers willing to prepare their own meals.
Disliked: The staff was not knowledgeable/ no maps/ no warmth. They were a bit rude offering cancellations if someone wasn't happy with the booking. No explanation why early birds arrivals/ previous communications with the property couldn't have got better bunk beds when available. Shoes-off policy. Noisy and loud staff conversations at late night. Lack of willingness to deal with customers/ no effort to open the indoor door, bordering discourtesy. They changed the door's code without warning. Lack of interest on customers. Overrated.
