Good for price and location,...

Liked: Staff were helpful for the most part and the location for the price is unbeatable.
Disliked: A few small things could be improved like replacing the blinds (they were cut up and broken some places in my room), having a toilet paper holder or wall attachment, and hooks in the bathroom for the hanging towels. Some of the mattresses are stained so mattress protectors would be nice. While the staff was great, one person had me return the comforter which was the next building over on the top floor. I noticed that fellow visitors took everything off the beds including comforters when they left. When I took mine down, I was told to put the comforter back but other people appeared to not have to do that. Since I was in a time crunch, I wish I could have left it with the linen, but it wasn't the end of the world.

Liked: Breakfast was good, and the people were nice and friendly.
Disliked: Walking distance from downtown here means a 30+ minute walk to the closest sight, which is quite far. The cleaning service was not the strongest aspect of this place.

good hostel

Liked: The staff is very friendly, and the location is quite good. We stayed in a room in the basement, which I believe was the only one with a private bathroom, so that was a nice surprise. However, there was no hot water in the shower (or perhaps I just didn’t wait long enough). The breakfast was great and is served from 8:30 to 10:30. Towels were provided, which was an unexpected but welcome touch for both me and my friend. The hostel is fairly crowded due to the large number of guests, so it might not be as clean as it could be, but I didn’t notice anything particularly concerning.
