Lovely to get away and...

Liked: The location, building, swimming pool and breakfast was brilliant along the shower! The parking is also fantastic!
Disliked: Our room wasn’t the cleanest we have seen considering the price and the place. Our expectation was a lot higher considering the look of the property and reputation. The bathroom door and bin was dusty, hair in the shower plug hole, bed had some weird liquid marks and the shower door was dirty. The bed although a nice size was a little hard- although my partner slept great. There was a lack of communication.. no wifi or information about breakfast/numbers to call in the room. We was also told an incorrect time that the pool is open until so it’s a good job we went early.

Liked: Fantastic Hall with superb grounds and surroundings.
Disliked: The accommodation does not warrant the room rate at all. The Deluxe room did not feel deluxe, outdated, chilly because of poor insulated door, cleanliness not great and overall, an underwhelming experience.Bar is beautiful but extension spoils it, staff were great, friendly and helpful, food to be improved on and does not warrant the pricing at all.little touches like pottery mugs, milk jugs, putting coffee machine next to the kettle with more space, a coffee machine that heats milk is worthy of the room rate of 200 a night. Please owners, visit and stay yourselves, or better, compare to somewhere like The Bell in Saxmundham or the Crown in Southwold to experience that value for money feel. Overall inconsistency. We spent a celebration budget on frankly, what we could have had in a chain. Dunston Hall would flourish from investment.

Disliked: One lift that was quite slow but that is the only thing I would say

Disliked: Breakfast hot food could do with more attention, ( fried eggs dried up, not topped up regularly considering amount of customers in ).
