Liked: The location was good as were the gardens
Disliked: Its tired and bathrooms/shower are tiny. Requires investment to modernize and bring up to scratch from bed linen to decor for a price tag without breakfast. Noise from the adjacent function room until late in the evening.

Liked: Loved this property - gorgeous old and original features all over, very comfy, friendly staff, lovely gardens with a pond & Lillie’s, great bathroom! Highly recommend!

Hotel only adequate - not...

Liked: Location good for what I required
Disliked: Breakfast was not available until 8am which is when I needed to go, so NO breakfast. Should be available earlier.Bed was adequate but not particularly comfortable, and pillows lumpy.Not terribly welcoming. Receptionist obviously just waiting for me to arrive so she could go home.

Excellent stay with helpful staff

Liked: Staff were very accommodating, the room was very comfortable and the building had amazing character.
Disliked: Nothing

Out of this world experience.

Liked: This is an amazing old country hall with some extra special features.
