Dreadful hotel - avoid

Liked: We couldn't find anywhere open for the evening meal so reluctantly did try the restaurant it was pleasant enough and the 2 dinners we had were good.
Disliked: The double bedroom was awful - down some steep stairs almost into the basement. Tiny room without the possibility of moving around. One small window with shabby curtains - dark grey walls giving a totally grim and depressing feeling. The proprietor was bombastic and had a barely concealed dislike of Booking.com and anyone who had booked through them.
