Liked: The concierge staff are great and courteous. They introduced some taxi drivers to me. The restaurant breakfast is exceptional.

Disappointed due to the spa...

Liked: Location.
Disliked: We booked the hotel specifically because it had a pool and spa facilities. When we got there we were informed that the pool and jacuzzi were not open and they continued to be closed for the three days that we were there.

Nice...but

Liked: Stunning grounds and lovely location. Staff pleasant, room clean.
Disliked: Appreciating the age of the hotel some freshning up would benefit areas. Evening meal very expensive. Unfortunately, pool and spa out of service at time of our visit.

Liked: Lovely breakfast, good choice, room was clean and quiet .staff were polite and efficient
Disliked: We were disappointed the pool was out of action for maintenance

A peaceful and pleasant break

Liked: Location is amazing, facilities are absolutely what you need to be off the grid but near enough to do things. As a solo traveller the staff couldn’t have been more helpful making the stay comfortable.
