Located on Sidmouth's seafront the Dukes inn is nestled on the majestic sandstone cliffs which form part of the Jurassic Coast. It features free Wi-Fi access a bar and a restaurant. There is limited free onsite parking available. It leads to a viewing point of Jacob's Ladder Beach and the entrance of Connaught Gardens. Sidmouth Golf Club is a short 5-minute car journey away and Beer Quarry Caves are also 16 minutes' drive from the inn.

Comfortable and convenient

Liked: The location was excellent. Just a few steps to the seafront and shopping area. The room was spacious and had everything required for a short stay. Good ensuite facility. The coffee machine was a lovely touch. I didn't have breakfast or food in the restaurant so cannot comment. The full length mirror and ironing board came in handy as I was attending a wedding.
Disliked: The room overlooked an inner courtyard with an extractor fan. I was able to draw the curtains during the day to keep the room cooler so was able to sleep without having to open the window.

Relaxing, peaceful and lovely.

Liked: Location was perfect as was the access to the restaurant / bar.
Disliked: Couldn’t leave my case after check out which was a little problematic as travelling internationally later that day.
