Liked: The room was very comfortable and the breakfast was excellent.
Disliked: I found it strange that there was a charge (£15 per night) for using the hotels car park. But there is a cheaper pay and display car park opposite the main entrance.

Disliked: Only warm water in the shower.Breakfast service poor. Tables not cleared after use. I had to go into the kitchen twice to get service.Run out of food such as mushrooms which if you are on a time scale was not good enough.

Liked: Good room all essentials in the room and lovely comfortable bed, staff very friendly and helpful. We had a roast dinner on Sunday for £12.95 and it was very nice.
Disliked: The Breakfast was far too expensive at £12.50 per person if booked in advance and £15 if requested on the day!! Sorry I wouldn’t pay that anywhere for breakfast. My wife and I had a traditional breakfast each and refillable late’s 200 yards away at Wetherspoons for a total of £12.70? (£6.35 each) basically half price!

Friendly staff, ok location, worn...

Liked: Very good location on market square, although there is no longer a weekly market there. It is a large car park which detracts from interesting historic buildings ringing the area. Staff was friendly and accommodating.
Disliked: The facade of the building is fine, but the interior, despite marketing to the contrary, is dated. The windows in the bedroom need replacement or at least painting. Breakfast was minimal and served at an awkwardly arranged buffet line.
