Liked: Breakfast not included, however enjoyed lovely dinner and 2 drinks in the restaurant .
Disliked: I didn’t like that the room was like a sauna when we arrived. It did however come with a little fan. Myself and my husband had been travelling all day having been abroad with friends on holidays in really high temperatures and were looking forward to a good nights sleep in our hotel room before we travelled back to Cork. We literally got no sleep felt like I was going to pass out with the heat and the noise then of the fan. No air conditioning not acceptable in 2025I’m incensed then as I’ve ended up paying for 2 rooms ( got no sleep) because our friends who were on hols with us and supposed to stay also couldn’t as a result of her Dad dying and had to return home from hols early. Will not be staying or recommending the Skylon Hotel again and probably not using booking. Com again.
