Liked: From the welcome at reception being escorted to our room and the stunning view from our room
Disliked: That we only had 1 x night stay , we will definitely book two nights the next time

Disliked: Food could be better. Fish served was probably frozen.

Great location and grounds but...

Liked: The Hotel claims to be 4 star but in truth it offers nowhere near this level of comfort or conviviality. Its sole benefit is its location and grounds which are superb but do not be fooled.
Disliked: Worn out towels, limited bar and wine options, polyester sheets, cheap loo rolls, staff who clearly resented your presence, a limited menu with options that were out of stock

Disliked: We booked a late check in but arrived to find the porter asleep and couldn’t access the property for half an hour. Waiting outside in the cold, banging on doors and making fruitless phone calls.
