Very good

Liked: Great location on the banks of the Tweed and views of Dryburgh Abbey ruins. Lovely staff. Reasonably priced food and drink
Disliked: Squeaky floorboards - could hear the people in the room upstairs walking around during the night and early morning. Hard pillows!

Picturesque hotel in a lovely...

Liked: Food was great, lovely dining areas, wonderful setting with nice lawns and path down to the banks of the river. Very picturesque. Next door to ruined abbey of the same name
Disliked: Obviously due to the age of the building there are certain parts that are in need of some repair, but nothing that will spoil your stay.

Great stay

Liked: Peaceful location. Hotel has lots of character and charm and lovely scenery. We booked cheapest room, it was spacious and clean with a decent view. Lovely breakfast, helpful staff. Had meal in restaurant in evening, was delicious. Dryburgh abbey is in the grounds of the hotel, worth a visit also.
Disliked: Nothing really. Bed and mattress adequate but not fantastic. But we did choose most basic room.
