Drury Inn & Suites St. Louis Union Station

Room was very nice and comfortable. I've stayed with Drury many times and locations, I'll stay with them again!

Disliked: The food could be better.

We were very impressed with the beauty of the hotel and room we stayed in. I was ecstatic that Drury uses "green" shampoos and conditioners and things. I was pleased with the smell of the hotel. There were several times my boys told me I smelled good but I had to tell them, it wasn't me - it was the hotel! I couldn't figure out if it was the laundry or where the scent was coming from but it was a very clean and great scent. I was very pleased with our visit and became a gold club member and look forward to Drury Inn chains in the future.

Superb

Overall we had a great...

Liked: The location was great, right across from the union station, within walking distance of the city museum. Parking was about half what it would’ve been at the arch drury. It was clean and the beds were comfy. The breakfast and dinner (“snack”) foods would run out and the staff worked fast to restock them, they were always cleaning the area and restocking the foods and condiments. Very friendly and helpful.
Disliked: The first night we got our swimsuits on and tried to go down to the pool it was closed. We were told it was too murky and a safety issue because they couldn’t see the bottom of the pool.. they had put chemicals in it to clean it up and it ended up being closed the rest of the night. The back elevator that lead to the pool was the slowest elevator ever. We were offered the opportunity to go to a nearby hotel that said while the drury pool was closed we could go there to swim, but we didn’t take them up on the offer.

We enjoyed our stay.

Liked: Room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was superb. Staff was excellent and friendly at all times of the day.
Disliked: The number of people who were just loitering in the breakfast area caused a delay in finding a seat for my family. They should have been asked to relocate into the lobby or elsewhere.

Horrible

Liked: My privacy was taking the van by a maintenance man and opening my bedroom door at 10 AM where I was naked in the process my property, my computer, my laptop that’s almost $500 was broken for me grabbing it trying to cover my body then I was laughed at pretty much by the way I responded in anger to the people at the front desk one being a management of some sort I believe not only do I deserve a sorry and possibly a weeks worth of days to anything that is related to the end but my computer completely paid for for the damage
Disliked: The service laughed at me and lied, and said after a moment whenever I brought it all to their attention that he didn’t even knock on my door come in my door is the neighbors, but they couldn’t prove this cause they didn’t have me on camera so then I felt unsafe in the place also on top of my privacy andmy stuff being damaged

Liked: I liked how close it was to union station. Breakfast was delicious, plenty to choose from.

Liked: Very nice property with the nostalgia of the old ymca. Everything was clean.
Disliked: We reserved a pack n play/crib 2+ weeks prior to our stay. Upon calling at the day of check in they advised that there was no guarantee and they might not have one available. This was obviously a huge issue as we needed one and booking said we would be contacted if they did not have one. All front desk attendants were very curt and short.
