The experience was a failure...
Liked: The person at the front desk tried to be as helpful as possible under impossible conditions.
Disliked: The partnership between Booking.com and Drury failed me and many other stranded travelers the evening of July 31. When my travel was delayed, I went on Booking.com and made a reservation at Drury. I called and was told, yes, they would expect me at the hotel and to take the shuttle. I waited with a big group for the shuttle but then opted for a taxi when it was taking too long. I then got to the hotel (after the shuttle I was waiting for) and then waited in line for about 30 minutes to be told at the front desk that the hotel was full and they could not honor my reservation (remember I called from the hotel). Dozens of people, including families, were in the same boat - all making reservations via Booking.com. The person at the front desk did the best she could under impossible circumstances, but she said that I should call Booking.com and cancel the reservation - the reservation that could not be honored and therefore didn't really exist. I called Booking.com, and the agent there told me I would have to work out any charges for the cancellation directly with the hotel - for the reservation that could not be honored and therefore didn't really exist. After midnight, I had to find another hotel - without Booking.com this time because I couldn't trust the app anymore. I arrived at my ultimate location, paying considerably for taxis, and was in my room at about 1:30 am. Subsequently, I was charged by Drury for the reservation that was not honored and canceled and had to call them again to get the charge reversed. It was a colossal failure on the part of Booking.com and Drury. Why I had to make four calls to Booking.com and Drury to not get charged for a reservation that they could take but not honor, I'll never know.

Liked: The breakfast and a small eveningbuffet and 3 drinks (adults) are included. Fitness room and pool (inside and out and hottub) available.
Disliked: Shuttle leaves from domestic terminal and is inconvenient when arriving late at night with small children at the international terminal. Our airport taxidriver (we took a taxi instead for such a small distance) was rude and tried to make us pay $30. When asking for the meter instead it still came out $25. He was also very unpleasant and that gave us a bad start unfortunately. Just a warning. The shuttle was a convenience we also choose the hotel for but we didn’t know about the two different terminals and extra busshuttle. Our two children just didn’t have the energy for that anymore.
